Howdy everybody! How was your weekend? Well, it has been RAINING here which is unusual. We are in the middle of a major drought in WV. This is not really a frugal tip, but my friends have put buckets under their window A/C's to collect water for their garden. Might give it a whirl for those of you who need it. Rich's grandma is still in the hospital. Don't know why her heart is beating so slowly. Jared went to the doctor on Friday for his shots = ( He boo hooed and made me feel badly. He weighed 14lbs 4oz! He is getting so big. Anyway...hope you all have a good day!
FRUGAL TIP
I got this tip out of a newsletter I subscribe to. It is the Coupon Clipper that I shared with you a while back. Go to
http://www.samsclub.com/join/join_pass.shtml and you can print out a one day guest pass to Sam's Club. This is good if you don't go often and want to go stock up on some stuff. You have to pay for your purchase with cash and there is a 5% surcharge added...but it beats paying $35 a year for just a trip a couple times a year.
RECIPE
Cheese Burger Macaroni (without having to buy the Hamburger Helper)
This is quick and pretty good. It eliminates the middle man (Hamburger Helper)
3 cups of cooked macaroni
1 cup melted velveeta cheese (or generic store brand...just as good)
1 cup of browned hamburger
salt and pepper to taste
Mix all of these ingredients together and voila!!!! Dinner is served.
