1 quart spaghetti sauce
2 cups uncooked rice
1 pound ground beef
1 onion, chopped (big one, but depends on your taste)
1 small head of cabbage, washed, and cut into one-half inch strips

Ok, simply brown the ground beef with the chopped onion. Cook until the onion is done and drain all fat by placing in a strainer and rinsing with hot water. Then cook the rice according to package directions.

Now the easy part. Spread a layer of fresh cabbage on the bottom of an ungreased 9 x 13 pan. Then add a thin layer of the rice, then a thin layer of the ground beef, then dab spoonfuls of one-half of the jar of sauce on top of that. Follow the same procedure once more and use all the sauce. Even rinse the sauce bottle with 1/2 cup water and pour that on top. Bake this covered with foil for about 40 min. Uncover for the last 5 min. Allow to sit for about 5 minutes then serve.
