Place saltine crackers over surface of foil-lined 9 x 13 pan. In sauce pan combine and boil 3 minutes: 1 C. butter (NOT MARGARINE--WON'T WORK) 1 C. brown sugar Pour over crackers. Bake at 400 degrees about 5 minutes till crackers float. Melt 6 oz. chocolate chips, then spread on crackers. (actually just put on hot cracker mix and it will melt) Sprinkle with chopped almonds if desired. |
