1 1/2 cup milk 3 cups sugar (my father-in-law insists on Dominoes) 2/3 cup cocoa sprinkle of salt 1 tsp vanilla extract 1/2 stick margarine 1/2 cup peanut butter Put milk in saucepan and begin to warm. Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl and stir in to milk. Add vanilla extract. Continuously stir mixture on medium heat. It will become glossy and bubbly. After about 15 minutes you will notice it is thicker. Get a cup of cold water and drip a little of the mixture in when you suspect it has cooked long enough. If it forms a soft ball and drops to the bottom of the water without falling apart, it is done cooking. Remove from heat and add margarine and peanut butter. Beat mixture vigorously until it is getting thicker. Pour onto plate or in glass pie dish. Allow to cool completely and set up. Cut into squares and serve.
