6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts 2 cans cream-of-mushroom soup 1 1/2 - 2 cups sour cream 1 packet onion soup mix (or equivalent of homemade onion soup mix) sliced mushrooms Mix sauce ingredients and mushrooms together and pour over chicken in crock pot. Cook on Low 6-8 hours, or High 3-4 hours. Serve over rice, noodles, or mashed potatoes. This freezes beautifully, either as leftovers or just the sauce to use on the meat later. We also enjoy this with flank steak, chicken pieces or meatballs. Besides the rice or whatever, all you need to add is a fresh salad, and you have a really impressive, delicious meal.
