1 pound fresh spinach
1 pint strawberries
Stem and wash the spinach. Dry thoroughly and chill. Wash the strawberries. Remove caps and stems and cut in half (quarters if they are very large). Place in a bowl. Chill until ready to toss with the dressing (see recipe below).
Dressing
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons poppy seeds
1-1/2 teaspoons minced onion
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1 cup salad oil
1/4 cup cider vinegar
Put first 6 ingredients into food processor.
With motor running, add oil and vinegar slowly. Blend until well blended.
Toss with spinach and strawberries and serve.
Serves 6 to 8.
