3 egg whites 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 1/4 cup sugar
Beat egg whites, vanilla and cream of tartar on medium speed, until soft peaks form, about one minute. Add sugar one tablespoon at a time, beating on highest speed until stiff, glossy peaks form and sugar is dissolved. Top your pie, and bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes, or until light golden brown.
This recipe will top 1--9 inch pie.
