Chocolate Mint Lip Balm Recipe

25 ml vegetable oil or oil blend (I like sweet almond oil, jojoba or avocado)
1 Tbsp. Beeswax pellets (or grated raw beeswax)
1/2 tsp carnauba wax (optional... gives a slightly harder product)
10 drops Vitamin E oil1/4 tsp. cocoa powder (optional)
12 drops essential oil of peppermint   (eucalyptus is also good for the wintertime, as is spearmint, and I also like to mix peppermint with vanilla oil - NOT vanilla extract, or the alcohol will do nasty things to your beeswax)

Melt all ingredients except Vitamin E, cocoa powder and essential oils together in small bowl in microwave or on the stove.  Heat just unit melted so as not to burn.  Remove from heat, add Vitamin E, essential oils and cocoa powder, stir, and pour directly into containers.  I use lip balm tubes or pots, but you can basically use any small container that has a lid of some sort.  Allow to cool completely before use.  This makes 3 X 10 ml containers, or 7 lip balm tubes.
