3-4 good-sized yams
1/2 Cup (or so) of white sugar
2 eggs
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup butter
cinnamon
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup crushed corn flakes
2 tbsp butter (melted)
 
Cook yams until they're tender, and then mix in sugar, eggs,milk and butter, and a little cinnamon.   Pour it into a smallish casserole dish, and bake at 350F for about 20 minutes, or until it looks like it's starting to set up nicely. 
 
Mix together brown sugar, crushed corn flakes and butter and sprinkle on top of yams.
Throw it back in the oven for 10-15 minutes, and that's it.
