1 cup butter- softened
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 cups chocolate chips (used milk chocolate)
1 cup nuts (your choice I used walnuts because I had them on hand) OPTIONAL

Blend together butter, sugars and vanilla. Add eggs and mix well. Add remaining ingredients (except nuts and chocolate chips). By hand stir in chips and nuts.

Drop tablespoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet and Bake @ 375 for 8-10 minutes, remove from sheets and cool on wire rack.

This is named after my oldest son (it is his favorite!)
