4 eggs
2 cups dry bread crumbs
1/2 Cup finely chopped onion (or substitute dried minced onion)
1 Tbsp. salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. pepper
4 lbs. lean ground beef (or a mix of beef, pork, chicken, turkey...)

In a large bowl, beat eggs. Add next six ingredients and stir. Add meat and mix together well. Shape into 1-inch balls. Makes about 12 dozen. At this point, I put them on cookie sheets in a single layer and freeze for a few hours until they are solid, and then pack them into large Ziploc freezer bags. I find this lasts for five or six meals. If you prefer, you can bake them ahead of freezing at 400F for about 15 minutes, then cool and freeze in individual containers. I just eliminate the cooking, since I figure they'd just have to cook again later.
