Cake: 1 c. margarine 1 1/2 c. sugar 4 eggs 1 t. vanilla 3 c. flour 1/2 t. salt 1 1/2 t. baking powder 1 can cherry pie filling Glaze: 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar 2 T. melted butter 1/2 t. vanilla Little bit of warm milk Cream the margarine and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat well after each. Add vanilla. Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt. Add to above mixture. Spread 2/3 of dough in a greased jelly roll pan. (10 1/2" x 15 1/2") Cover with pie filling and spoon the rest of the batter on top. Bake for 20-30 minutes @ 350 degrees. Add warm milk to glaze to make a thin consistency. Drizzle this glaze on top while cake is still warm.
